Brief profile: 
Charles Kalinganire was born on 1 July 1961 in Gicumbi, Northern Province in Rwanda and he is Holder of a MA degree in Arts-Sociology delivered by the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 2003. He benefited from various trainings in Social Work offered respectively by the University of Stellenbosch (Case Work, Group and Community Work and Social Work Management) and Tulane University. Charles Kalinganire is trilingual in English, French and Kinyarwanda. Charles Kalinganire is Lecturer at the University of Rwanda/College of Arts and Social Sciences in the Department of Social Sciences and he is currently PhD Candidate in Social Work. He has been working with Trócaire, World Vision, UNICEF, Care International, Gender Monitoring Office, Tulane University, CBOs, FBOs and various Rwandan ministries. His Main research activities and consultancies focus on Child and Family welfare, gender, HIV/AIDS and social development.
