Brief profile: 
"Eugene is currently a PhD student in Economics and Finance at the University of Szczecin in West Pomerania, Poland. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Maastricht School of Management (MSM), Netherlands. He has over 10 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and master’s levels, specializing in financial markets, international finance, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and public finance. His research focuses on micro- and macro-finance, with a particular interest in financial inclusion, and he has published in peer-reviewed journals. His recent consultancy engagements, before pursuing further studies in 2023, include reviewing the 2018–2022 Strategic Plan and Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs), and developing the 2022–2027 Strategic Plan and SoPs for the National Industrial Research and Development Agency (NIRDA), Rwanda. In 2022, he also conducted a needs assessment survey on resilience and adaptation mainstreaming for the World Resources Institute (WRI) in Rwanda. He has held senior managerial and leadership roles, including Head of the Consultancy Unit and Head of the Department of Finance at the University of Rwanda. His corporate governance experience includes serving as a Board Member of Rwanda Medical Supply Ltd (RMS) and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Akazi Kanoze Access (AKA). He has also served as an Executive Council Member of the College of Business and Economics, University of Rwanda. He holds Training of Trainers (ToT) certifications in entrepreneurship and microfinance from institutions including the Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Microfinance and Entrepreneurship (RICEM), the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany, and the Microfinance Institute, United Kingdom (UK)."
