Brief profile:
Ferdinand Nkikabahizi holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Economics, and is currently a PhD candidate in production, environmental and resource economics at Luleå University of Technology, Department of Social Sciences, Technology and Arts, Sweden, with expected completion in June 2027.
He has been involved in teaching at University of Rwanda since 2015 in the Department of Economics, School of Economics where he has taught various economics-related courses and contributed to other academic activities, including research and student supervision support.
His research interests lie in agricultural economics, environmental economics, and natural resource economics. He has authored and co-authored several academic publications in these areas. Currently on study leave to pursue his doctoral studies, he continues to contribute to teaching activities at University of Rwanda when in his home country.
