Brief profile: 
Mr. Vincent NIYIGABA is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, School of Engineering, College of Science and Technology, University of Rwanda. He holds Master's Degree in Renewable Energy from University of Rwanda in 2019. His area of interest is Hydropower and Solar Energy Technology. With his background in Mechanical Engineering, He attended special training of four (4) months on “Design and development of pre- and post- harvest farm machinery for small-scale farmers, testing of farm machinery and farm power and alternate energy” at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), India. He is Member of Technical committee for Standard and assessment of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at Rwanda Standard Board (RSB). He participated in different Research projects like “Design and development of E-Tractor powered by solar energy for the agriculture ecosystems” where he was co-PI. Currently, he is working on “Implementation of a complete green public Mobility System by Retrofitting of existing Petrol Driven Motorcycle”.
