Welcome message from the University of Rwanda’s Director of Research & Innovation

Dear visitors,

It is with great pleasure to welcome you to this research page dedicated to showcase trends in research undertakings at the University of Rwanda. This is an opportune time to ensure seamless communication aimed at informing the university’s stakeholders of its contributions to the world of knowledge and of its ultimate purpose to promote an impactful socio-economic wellbeing of the society. We appreciate the contributions from all researchers whose continued resilience has steadily made the university’s presence be felt amongst its peer institutions over the years.

For easy navigation, the structure of the presentation is based on research disciplines such as Humanities, Law and Social Sciences(CASS); Agriculture, Food Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM); Business, Economics,  Data Sciences and Statistics(CBE); Education(CE); Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Public Health(CMHS); Engineering, Sciences, Architecture, Information and Communication Technology, Mining and Geology (CST) , thus facilitating interested visitors to get papers of their interest without any hassle. The said disciplines are related to the colleges that are constituents of the University of Rwanda, namely the College of Arts and Social Science (CASS), the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM), the College of Business and Economics (CBE), the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS) and the College of Science and Technology (CST). In addition, the structure presents a list of grants won by our academic staff. These grants have contributed to the research output and have become a catalyst for international collaboration.

It is, thus, our desire to continue updating this research webpage as we receive new publications, and we expect our readers to find it useful and informative.

Our gratitude goes to the University of Rwanda leadership for providing a research-conducive environment and to the local and international funders for their financial support that enabled researchers to implement their projects until completion.
