"Jonas Barayandema is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Rwanda’s College of Business and Economics. His research focuses on investment analysis, supply chain finance, international trade finance, and the interplay between supply chain integration and organizational performance. He has an established publication record in reputable, high-impact scientific journals.
Prof. Barayandema currently serves as Dean of the School of Business and as Rwanda’s Chair for the WTO Chairs Programme (WCP). He has contributed extensively to institutional governance and academic leadership, serving on numerous ad hoc committees and programme committees for scientific conferences and academic workshops. He has also chaired multiple expert panels at international research events.
With more than two decades of teaching experience, Prof. Jonas Barayandema has supervised a significant number of Master’s and PhD theses, demonstrating a strong commitment to research capacity development and academic mentorship
