"Justin Murwanashyaka has specific expertise in Office, Programme and team management, Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and learning, designing and implementing projects proposals aimed at testing innovative development interventions on a small scale with a view to the development of a larger scale programme. He has an experience as Researcher in public and private institutions including in academia and Civil Society Organisations, health issues and service delivery as well as Home Grown Solutions including strengthening quality service delivery of Community Health Workers. Murwanashyaka has a great experience in research as a scholar, consultant, and as a development practitioner working on governance, land and justice-related matters, health, management, peace and conflict studies (with a strong focus on gender) and Indigenous Knowledge System (IKS). This experience and educational background allow him to develop macro (policy maker) and micro (beneficiaries) perspective on the problems he works on and to find solutions that are practical and meaningful at both levels. He is social scientist who adopts an inter-disciplinary approach in his work (combining political history, law, health, HGS, economics and related social sciences). He has a BA (A0) degree in Political Sciences and a Master’s degree in Genocide Studies and Prevention. Murwanashyaka is finalizing his PhD Research on “Ibyitso” Mass Killing Testing as Prelude to the Genocide against the Tutsi. Case of Murambi Commune (1990-1994). "
