Brief profile:
Yassini Maniraguha is a historian and specialist of the Great Lakes region of Africa. He takes an interdisciplinary approach (combining political history, law, economics, peace and conflict studies, and related social sciences). He holds a bachelor's degree (A0) in History with a specialisation in Teaching and Research and a master's degree in History of Africa (History, Archaeology and Histroy of Art). He is currently pursuing a PhD in history at the University of Rwanda.
