Brief profile: 
Mr. Anselme Ruhumuriza is an academic and youth leader with a Master’s degree in International Relations, certified trainer on conflict resolution and Management and experience as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda. He has over five years of leadership experience as the Social Welfare Commissioner of the Rwanda National Youth Council headquarters under the Ministry of Youth and Arts (MoYA). Currently, he serves as the Secretary General of the ICGLR Multifunctional Youth Forum in the Great Lakes Region. In addition, Anselme works as a consultant and member of the Living Equality Initiative, focusing on youth empowerment, climate change, inclusive leadership, gender and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). He is passionate about Peace studies, migration and refugees, governance, democracy, regional integration, International Affairs and sustainable development, advancing these goals through Education, Trainings, Research, Advocacy, and policy engagement.
