Brief profile:
My research profile is grounded in Public Policy, with a particular focus on health-related policy analysis and evaluation. For my Master’s thesis, I conducted an in-depth analysis of malnutrition in children and its effects in Rwanda, which deepened my understanding of the intersection between health outcomes and policy interventions. This work strengthened my expertise in applying policy frameworks, mixed-methods research, and evidence-based analysis to address complex public health challenges. Building on this foundation, I am now focusing my research interests on health policy, specifically maternal and reproductive health access. I am particularly interested in exploring how policy responsiveness and implementation quality influence equitable access to maternal health services in resource deprived communities. My long-term goal is to generate actionable evidence that informs inclusive and sustainable health policies, thereby contributing to the improvement of maternal and reproductive health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries.
