NDASHIMYE Gregoire

Gregoire NDASHIMYE, an Assistant Lecturer, has a holder of Master's Degree in Translation and Interpreting with concentration in Translation: English-French-Kiswahili from University of Rwanda College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS 5/11/2021). He is a holder of Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PGC LTHE) obtained on 22 August 2013 from URCE. He also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Education (Upper Second Class Honours) in English-Literature in English with Education from University of Rwanda College of Education (former Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) on 20 March 2008. He was trained in Education Leadership and Management; and Leadership for Learning. He was a trainer of Trainers (ToT) in URCE-REB-VVOB project. He was a facilitator of Leadership for Learning in URCE-BLF-REB Project. He was trained by British Council and BLF and participated in Pre-Test Survey for primary English teachers (P1-P3) carrying out classroom observations. He acted as the subject Coordinator of Communication Skills since February 2016 up to 2017. Before joining UR-College of Education, he served as a Tutorial Assistant and Assistant Lecturer of English at Tumba College of Technology: March 2008 up to November 2012 respectively. He also worked as a secondary school English and languages’ teacher at Groupe Scolaire APECAS/Muyunzwe: November 1997 up to June 2002 when he left to start undergraduate studies at Universirty of Rwanda College of Education (Former Kigali Institute of Education (KIE).
