Dr. HITIYAREMYE Vivens

Vivens HITIYAREMYE has been working for University of Rwanda since 2006 as a teacher of English and communication skills. Vivens is the current Vice President of the Association of Teachers of English in Rwanda (ATER), where he is committed to supporting English language and subject teachers through different initiatives aiming at developing teachers’ classroom English and pedagogy. Vivens has worked with different international organizations, especially in the areas of Teacher Training, educational data collection, curriculum development, and instructional design. The skills and expertise he gained from teaching experience, professional training, and short courses were further strengthened and expanded by completing a Master’s degree in Educational Planning, Management, and Administration at Mount Kenya University in 2013, and a Doctorate of Education (EdD) completed at Unicaf University in 2025.
