Brief profile:
I am a full-time Assistant Lecturer and researcher at the University of Rwanda and a PhD candidate in Peace, Conflict, and Security Studies at the University of Rwanda and the University of Gothenburg, specializing in humanitarian studies and conflict management of refugees in humanitarian regions. My doctoral research examines “The Refugee Experience of Navigating Socially Constructed Differences in Humanitarian Liminal Space.” Trained as a Teacher at High school, now, I hold a BA in Social Development and Religious Studies from ANT Seminary (Kampala, Uganda), an MBA in Business Management from Mount Kenya University (Nairobi, Kenya), and an MA in Peace and Conflict Transformation from the University of Rwanda. Professionally, I have worked at senior managerial roles in Project and program management in Rwanda, the Ivory Coast, Thailand, and Cambodia with institutions including local government, OXFAM GB, BSR, and Bridgenet Africa, alongside lecturing roles at the University of Kigali, INES Ruhengeri, MIPC, and EACC. I am multilingual (English, French, Swahili and Kinyarwanda) and an active member of professional and civic networks, including the Marketing Society, M&E in Project Management in Horex society of M&E in Rwanda, and Rotary International. Active consultant trainer in ICD, ICGA, and Knowledge Pool.
