UMUTONI M Jane

Jane Umutoni holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Development Studies and is an Assistant Lecturer at the Centre for Gender Studies, University of Rwanda. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Glasgow, UK. Her research centres on gender studies, with a particular focus on girls’ education, women’s economic empowerment, disability rights and post-conflict peacebuilding. Alongside co-authoring scholarly publications and non-scientific outputs, she has vast experience working on local and international collaborative research projects and consultancies related to these themes.
