Brief profile: 
"- More than 30 years of experience in forestry and related fields. - Since the 1990s, held several positions dealing directly or indirectly with Forestry and related fields mainly in Rwanda and Tanzania. - Promoted to the position of Full Professor of Forestry on 1st December 2017. - Appointed on 6th November 2017 as Acting Deputy Dean of the School of Forestry, Biodiversity, and Conservation. - From 2012 to 2014, served as Coordinator of the MSc. in Agroforestry and Soil Management. - From 2008 to 2011, served as Director of the Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing, Training and Research Centre of the National University of Rwanda (CGIS-NUR). - From 2006 to 2008, served as Director of the Land and Forestry Research Centre and the Forest management program at the National Agricultural Research Institute (ISAR). - From 2002 to 2006, served as a Lecturer, Researcher, and Consultant at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro, Tanzania. - Supervised more than 150 undergraduate students, and more than 20 MSc students. - Supervised 3 PhD Candidates to completion and currently co-supervising 6 PhD Students (2 at University of Rwanda, 1 at Egerton University (Kenya), 2 at SLU (Sweden), 1 at Comsats University, Islamabad (Pakistan)."
