Brief profile:
A Rwandan conservationist and academic who serves as the Head of Department for Ecotourism and Greenspace Management and an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda. He is the Team Leader for biodiversity data management at the Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resources Management (CoEB), where he manages the Rwanda Biodiversity Information System (RBIS). His research specializes in herpetology and bioacoustics, specifically using amphibians as bio-indicators to assess the ecological health of Rwandan wetlands. Mindje is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Rwanda and holds dual Master’s degrees in BioGeoSciences and Biodiversity Conservation. His professional focus involves integrating biodiversity data into national policy and developing zoological collections to support environmental research in Rwanda.
