Brief profile:
I am a assistant lecturer and Microbiology Laboratory Manager at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences, University of Rwanda. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and a Master’s degree in Tropical Animal Health. I am currently a PhD scholar focusing on antimicrobial resistance in the dairy value chain, with emphasis on cephalosporin- and carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales. My work integrates laboratory diagnostics, risk factor analysis, and evaluation of plant-based antimicrobial alternatives. I am actively engaged in teaching, research, and community outreach to strengthen animal health and food safety in Rwanda
