"Medical parasitologist and molecular biologist with over 10 years of experience in neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) research, control, and evaluation, with a strong focus on schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminthiasis (STH), lymphatic filariasis, and Trachoma. I have extensive experience working across the full continuum of NTD control and elimination, including parasitological surveys, laboratory diagnostics, impact assessments, operational research, and policy-relevant evidence generation.
Currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, with prior senior research leadership roles within the Ministry of Health research system, with expertise in survey design, laboratory quality assurance, data interpretation, and supervision of multidisciplinary field teams.
