Brief profile:

Dr Jean de Dieu Dushimimana is an experienced University Lecturer from 204 onwards. He started his career of teaching sociology at ULK (2004), after completing his MA/Sociology from Wits University, Johannesburg (2006) he continued teaching sociology at ULK. He pursued PhD from 2012 and completed it in 2016 at North West University, South Africa. Since then, He moved to the University of Kigali (UoK). From 2023, he joined the UR/CASS, Huye Campus where he teaches sociology. He is a consultant in the areas of research on Land reform, Land management, Land related conflicts and agrarian reform as his masters and PhD theses were on land reform that took place in Rwanda since 2004. He has three professional certificates in Social Work from Tulane University (USA/UR), in Economics, and Natural Resources Management Policy from University Senghor of Alexandria (Egypt) and in Youth mentorship in Research Methodology from Africa Policy Institute (API-Nairobi, Kenya).
