Lambert Christophe Safari

"Lambert Christophe Safari is a Consultant Hospital & Clinical Pharmacist registered with National Pharmacy Council (NPC) of Rwanda who is an experienced pharmacist in pharmacy practice in different areas ranging from clinical practice, policy formulation to public health. He is a faculty member at University of Rwanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, in the School of Medicine and Pharmacy; and he is based at the University Teaching Hospital of Butare (CHUB) as an academician consultant Clinical Pharmacist, where he is also the Vice-Chairperson of Hospital Medicines and Therapeutics Committee (MTC) activities as to clinical teaching and mentorship to students and interns. He is a member of Education, Research and CPD Committee (2022-2025) and a former board member of NPC (2016-2019). His research focuses on infectious diseases, cancer, palliative care, Clinical research, novel drug discoveries as well as therapeutics, including the global health. Currently, he is doing his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Rwanda with a focus on quality of selected drugs coupled with clinical therapeutics drug monitoring in critical patients.
