"Abdul-Rahuf Aderemi Feyitimi is a well-known expert in Medical Physiology. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Medical Physiology, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Rwanda, Republic of Rwanda, where he teaches Physiology and aspects of Anatomy to Medicine and Dental Surgery students, as well as other allied medical science students.
Previously, Feyitimi worked as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Public and Community Health, Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, where he taught Anatomy and Physiology modules between 2014 and 2015.
He served as Secretary/Resource Person at the Noetic Orientation and Research on Malaria Foundation (NORM), Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, between 2012 and 2019. He was also an Npower volunteer at Basic Health Centre, Kulende, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, between 2018 and 2020.
He also served as a Personal Research Assistant/Tutorial Assistant to Prof. T.M. Salman, Department of Physiology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, between 2016 and 2022.
He obtained his Master’s Degree in Physiology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2018, and his Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from the same university in 2014. His specialisations include Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Pathophysiology, and he can handle all aspects of Medical Physiology effectively due to his educational background, knowledge, and wealth of experience.
Feyitimi's research interests revolve around Physiology Education, Diabetes, Nutraceuticals, Biotechnology, and Drug Discovery, with a focus on developing drugs for disease management.
Outside of academic activities, Feyitimi has a keen interest in industrialisation, particularly in agriculture, as well as health, safety, security, and the environment.
