BUGINGO EMMANUEL

Dr. Emmanuel Bugingo is an internationally trained lecturer and researcher specializing in artificial intelligence, distributed systems, and multi-objective optimization. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Technology from Xiamen University, China, and is currently a Lecturer at the University of Rwanda. His research focuses on scalable and energy-efficient cloud–edge computing, workflow scheduling, and intelligent systems for real-time decision-making in data-intensive, machine learning for acedemic decision making and resource-constrained environments. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, serves as a reviewer for high-impact AI and computing journals, and actively engages in interdisciplinary collaboration, student mentorship, and applied digital innovation in both academic and public-sector contexts.
