Dr. Ntahompagaze Joseph is an Associate Professor of Physics in the Department of Physics, College of Science and Technology, University of Rwanda. Currently Dr. Ntahompagaze Serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning Enhancement in the same College. He has an active research profile with a strong record of peer-reviewed publications in theoretical and applied physics, particularly in areas related to astrophysics, cosmology, and general relativity focusing on modified gravity theories and cosmological perturbations. His research contributions include collaborations on studies of perturbation theory, modified gravity models (such as Gauss–Bonnet gravity), and other fundamental physics topics, published in respected international journals. These works show his engagement in advancing knowledge at the intersection of cosmology and gravitational physics. As a faculty member, Dr. Ntahompagaze Joseph contributes to teaching, supervision, and research mentorship at the University of Rwanda, helping to build capacity in physics and related sciences in Rwanda and beyond. He is a member of East African Astronomy Network, African Astronomical Society and International Astronomy Union. He currently serve as National Education Coordinator for Rwanda (NAEC Rwanda).
