Brief profile: 
Dr. Jeanne P. Uyisenga is a Lecturer and researcher at the University of Rwanda in the Department of Biology. She obtained her BSc in Biotechnology from National University of Rwanda in 2007, obtained two masters degrees in Biomedical Sciences and in Public Health (Clinical Research and epidemiology) at Université Catholique de Louvain in 2012 and 2011 respectively. She also obtained her PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2021 from Liège University in Belgium. Her research interest is in investigating causes, risks factors and possible molecular and genetic biomarkers that could be used for early diagnostic, prognostic and/or prediction of response to treatment of diseases. She is actively involved in supervision of undergraduate, masters and PhD students in their reach projects.
