Brief profile:
Dr. Eng. Telesphore is a Lecturer in department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering, School of Engineering, UR-College of Science and Technology. He holds a a Ph.D. degree in Ecology / Eco-hydrology and Water Resources at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, College of Resources and Environment, Beijing, China, in 2022. His main research interests include water resources management and hydrological modelling (e.g., Rainfall Runoff Modelling, Flood Modelling, Watershed Hydrology, Lake/River Basin Management, Groundwater, Water Balance), specific applications include: urban storm water management; effects of land covers on hydrological process; inland flooding modeling; and Environmental management. Dr. Eng. Telesphore has published more than 15 research articles in the best reputed international journals with high Impact Factors (IF) which include Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, Groundwater for Sustainable development, Journal of Hydrology, Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy, Ecosystem Health and Sustainability, and Environmental Development. Dr. Eng. Telesphore is a member of Institute of Engineers for Rwanda (IER), International Water Resources Association (IWRA), and the Rwanda Association of Professional Environmental Practitioners (RAPEP).
