Brief profile:
Dr. Aloysie Manishimwe is an academic, researcher and environment–ecology–climate–biodiversity specialist based in Rwanda. She is a Lecturer in the Department of Biology at the University of Rwanda and a Research Associate with the Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resources Management (CoEB). Her research focuses on plant ecophysiology, tropical forest ecology, and tree responses to climate change, with particular emphasis on temperature, water, and nutrient gradients in tropical montane forests. Dr. Manishimwe holds advanced training in biological, ecological and environmental sciences and actively contributes to research, teaching, community outreach and international scientific collaborations on climate change, action, resilience, biodiversity conservation and agroecology.
