Brief profile: 
Mukashema Immaculée is Full Professor of Psychology at the University of Rwanda where she works since 2000. Faculty member and researcher, she also is occupying the position of Director for Research and Innovation in the College of Arts and Social Sciences of the University of Rwanda, since 2022. Degrees: Professor Mukashema Immaculée is multidisciplinary back grounded from the field of psychology, public health, education and Theology. She has completed her doctorate (PhD) degree in Psychology from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (EPHE), France. She has a Master Degree in Public Health (MPH), completed from the National University of Rwanda, Rwanda, in collaboration with Tulane University, USA. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education Management (GC-TEM) from Melbourne University. Professor Mukashema Immaculée holds four (4) Bachelor’s degrees: one in School psychology from University or Rwanda; one Canonical Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas, Rome, Italy; one State Bachelor’s degree in Catholic Theology from University of Lorraine, France; and one Bachelor’s degree in Theology from DOMUNI. Prior to this, she got Baccharaureat in Psychopedagogy from University of Rwanda in addition to a secondary school’s certificate (Humanities) in teaching from College Sainte Marie  Kibuye. Post-doctoral research:Professor Mukashema Immaculée won a highly competitive Post-doctoral Grant under the Sida Support. Within her post-doctoral research activities, she worked in the former National University of Rwanda, Rwanda; in the University of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; and in the Adler School of Professional Psychology, Chicago, USA. She completed the post-doc research with publications and presentations in well-known international journals and international academic conferences. She successfully performed a research grant won on a competitive basis under UR-Sida collaboration. The outcomes from the grant were academically publications in indexed publishers and presentations in international conferences. Professor Mukashema Immaculée has a good number of Professional Development Certificates including the ones on Trainers of Trainers of PhD Supervision training. She has co-facilitated in the module of Enhancing Postgraduate Supervision organized under Stellenbosch University - University of Rwanda Joint School of 2021. Award: a Trophy awarded to her by UR/CASS “in recognition to her academic achievements"" as 1st female Associate Professor at UR in 2015.
