Brief profile: 
Mr. Innocent has been involved in teaching English and Communication Skills in Higher education since December 2009 and he has been leading and taking part in English training programs such as Intensive English Language Programs (2009-2013), English Language Training for former KHI staff ( 2010-2012) as well as in leading modules like Communication Skills Module (2010 to present) and English for Specific Purposes ( 2014 to present). Regarding community engagement, Mr. Innocent is an active member of the Association of Teachers of English in Rwanda (ATER) since its creation (December 2011), and he is currently involved in English Communities of Practices’ (CoP) aiming at advancing teacher- driven professional development in English Language Teaching and Learning in Rwanda. Also interested in research, Mr. Innocent has been conducting classroom inquiries mainly in the areas of students’ errors in language learning process and how they can become source of learning. Since Hakizimana is a lifelong learner, he is eager to pursue his studies to PhD level by research in the area of language planning and policy.
