Brief profile:
Aloysie Uwizeyemariya is a lecturer at University of Rwanda (UR). Since 2012, she has taught Communication Skills in English, English for Specific Purposes and English for Academic Purposes at the College of education, Professional Practice of Interpreting and Advanced Interpreting Skills and Practice at the College of Arts and Social Sciences. She is a holder of MA in translation and interpreting, PGCLTHE (Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education) and BA in English. She has also been a secondary school teacher of English for two years. Besides, she is an active member of a professional Association of Teachers of English in Rwanda (ATER). In addition to that, she has carried out consultancies in translation and interpreting, educational audit and in-service teacher training. Her research projects have been mainly in Language Education, literacy and communication skills.
