"Laetitia Umutoni Kagisha, Assistant Lecturer at University of Rwanda in College of Arts and Social Sciences, exactly at Centre for Gender Studies I hold a master’s degree in Management of development, with a specialization in rural development and gender. Passionate about sustainable development and gender equality, I have dedicated my academic and professional career to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by rural communities, especially women. In addition to teaching, I actively engage in research focusing on women in the informal sector, gender-based violence, and gender and development, contributing valuable insights to the field of development studies. I am dedicated to fostering collaboration between academic institutions and local communities, aiming to create effective solutions that enhance livelihoods and promote gender equity in rural areas."
