Edward Katwaza

Edward is a Gender and Socio-Economic expert with over 12 years of experience in advancing gender equality and social inclusion. He lectures at the University of Rwanda’s Centre for Gender Studies and has consulted widely with UNDP, government ministries, and international organizations on gender diagnostics, climate resilience, and inclusive policy development. His work spans education, agriculture, environment, and industry, where he has designed strategies, conducted assessments, and developed training tools that mainstream gender across institutions and programs.
