Brief profile: 
Hakizamungu Alexandre is a PhD student in the Department of Social Work at the University of Gothenburg (2021-). I am a seasoned lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Rwanda. I have a master’s degree in social work and human rights from the University of Gothenburg in 2013, and a postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education earned from the University of Rwanda in 2019. Since 2013, Hakizamungu coordinated several joint research projects and exchange programs between the University of Rwanda and Universities in Canada, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Africa. I was Head of Department of Social Sciences at the University of Rwanda between 2015 and 2021. Alexandre has 12 publications in community and health care social work.
