KIIZA Charles

"Dr. Charles Kiiza is Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Rwanda and Managing Director of CJK Governance International Consult Ltd. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations with a specialization in conflict resolution and completed post-doctoral research in the same field at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He has also undertaken advanced training at the London School of Economics and Political Science (Public Policy Analysis, 2023), Uppsala University (Peace and Security, 2007), and the Haggai Institute (Advanced Leadership Training, 2015). Dr. Kiiza has over two decades of experience in higher education, academic leadership, and consultancy across East Africa. His research and teaching interests include conflict resolution, diplomacy, governance, and public policy. He has published widely on peacebuilding, governance, and diplomacy in Africa, with particular focus on the Great Lakes Region, and has coordinated multi-country research initiatives. He regularly participates in academic and policy forums on peace, security, and governance. "
