Brief profile: 
"Dr. Jean Bosco Ntivuguruzwa is the Dean at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, University of Rwanda. He joined the University of Rwanda in October 2009. In April 2022, He obtained a Ph.D. in Veterinary Tropical Diseases (Zoonoses) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His Ph.D. research focused on the Prevalence and characterization of brucellosis and tuberculosis in cattle and its zoonotic risk associated factors in Rwanda. In April 2017, Jean Bosco Ntivuguruzwa obtained his master’s degree in veterinary science (Zoonoses) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He successfully completed his research on Molecular characterization and antimicrobial resistance profiles of Salmonella Typhimurium isolated between 1995 and 2002 from organs and environments of diseased poultry in South Africa. In June 2008, Jean Bosco obtained an undergraduate degree, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, from Ecole Inter-États des Sciences et Médecine Vétérinaires de Dakar, Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar, Sénégal. His final research project focused on Effets de l’infusée des racines entières de Nauclea latifolia (Sm) sur les performances de croissance du poulet de chair. Jean Bosco is interested in Molecular Epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance of zoonotic pathogens, Food Safety and One Health (Veterinary Public Health). His passion is protecting the health of animals and keeping environment safe for improved human health. "
