Brief profile: 
"Andrew Kibogo is a lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Medicine under College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences /UR where he is mainly engaged in research, teaching undergraduate students from both Schools of Forestry and Biodiversity and Veterinary Medicine and community outreach as well. He is an Associate Researcher affiliated to the Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resources Management/UR and a Member of Society for Conservation Biology, Rwanda Chapter. His research interest focuses on community-based natural resource management, zoological gardens and park management and planning, wildlife management and rural livelihoods through understanding impacts of conservation interventions on livelihoods; and understanding the drivers of human wildlife conflict and impacts of such conflicts on livelihoods of rural communities adjacent to protected areas in Rwanda. Trained as a vet from the College of Agriculture, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at University of Rwanda, and holds MSc. in Natural Resource Management for Sustainable Agriculture with specialization in Wildlife Management and Conservation from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania. Andrew is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant (PhD in Wildlife Management) in the Department of Conservation Biology and Entomology from University of Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa. He has been a faculty advisor for Student One Health Initiative Club (SOHIC) at University of Rwanda Huye- Campus and has also been involved in facilitating graduate students on Infectious disease Management (IDM) trainings which usually take place at UR- Nyagatare campus. Andrew has attended a number of trainings related to his career and presented to many international conferences. He has mentored many students, and authored or coauthored more than 10 peer reviewed articles. "
