Dr. Hilaire Habyarimana

Dr. Hilaire Habyarimana is a University lecturer, researcher and language education senior consultant. He is involved in the teaching of General English, English for Specific Purposes and English for Academic purposes; teaching of general linguistics, syntax, semantics and morphology; teaching academic writing to the university postgraduate students; teaching of soft skills and communication skills; Researching and consulting on language education, language policy and practice, methodology of teaching and learning English as a second language, and language literacy. Member of the Association of Trainers of Communication in English and Work Readiness Skills, the University of Rwanda, 2019-onwards. Trainer/ Materials Developer/ Testing tools developer/Monitoring and Evaluation member. Active member in training School-Based Mentors (SBMs) on how to shift from being a teacher to becoming a trainer. Member of the Association of Trainers of Trainers (ToTs) involved in training primary and secondary teachers to embed Core Skills (21st Century Skills) in Competence-Based Curriculum in order to equip learners with skills currently required to overcome the world crisis in education.
