Brief profile:
Dr. Victor Archibong is an anatomist and neuroscience researcher at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Rwanda. He earned his PhD in Anatomy (specialization in neurobiology) from the University of Calabar, and received further neuroimaging training at the University of Oxford and global mental health training at the University of Washington. Dr Archibong is an IBRO school alumnus and a member of several internationally recognized institutions, including the American Association of Anatomy (AAA), the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN), and the African College of Neuropsychopharmacology (AfCNP). He is a brain health and research advocate who has led neuroscience and mental health outreach programs in Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda.
