"Similien NDAGIJIMANA, PhD is a Lecturer, Biostatistician, and Health Data Specialist with a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Rwanda. He also holds a Master’s degree in Statistical Modelling and Actuarial Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. With over 10 years of experience in biostatistics, climate and health, DHIS2, data management, and monitoring and evaluation, he has worked closely with the Ministry of Health Rwanda, the Rwanda Biomedical Centre, and international partners. His research focuses on child health, nutrition, and climate-sensitive diseases, using advanced statistical and machine-learning methods. He has published several peer-reviewed studies on stunting among children under five in Rwanda, including applications of geospatial analysis and artificial neural networks, with work published. His work supports evidence-based decision-making and capacity building in data-driven health systems."
