Brief profile: 
Jean Paul Bikorimana is a Lecturer at the University of Rwanda’s College of Arts and Social Sciences, and based at the Centre for Gender Studies, in Rwanda. He also holds an honorary Research Fellow position at the University of Aberdeen, in the UK and is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Rwanda. Jean Paul holds a PhD focusing on Global Health and Medical Anthropology, and a Master’s degree in Public Health with a specialisation in Epidemiology and Disease Control. His research focuses on the intersectionality of gender, society, and health, with a dedicated focus on understanding and addressing systemic gender inequalities and health disparities. He is committed to developing evidence-based, culturally informed, and contextually tailored solutions to advance equity in global health.
