UWIMANA Jean Luc

I am university lecturer and language education specialist with a Master of Education in French. I teach French and English at intermediate and advanced levels and have professional expertise in French (DALF) education. My academic and research interests focus on language teaching and learning, the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), ICT integration in education, and educational policy in African contexts, particularly Rwanda. I fluently speak Kinyarwanda, English, French, and Swahili. I have contributed to scholarly articles and policy-oriented publications addressing language and education development in Rwanda. My contributions include working with local government and active participation in the implementation of SDGs particularly in Rusizi District of Rwanda. I am actively involved in academic writing, professional development initiatives, and educational capacity-building programmes, including training on "OPF" Organization pour la Promotion de la Francophonie. My work reflects a strong commitment to learner-centered pedagogy, evidence-based policy, and educational transformation.
