Brief profile: 
Jolly Mornie Rubagiza is Associate Professor and the Director of the Centre for Gender Studies at the College of Arts and Social Sciences, the University of Rwanda (UR). She has a long career as an academic and researcher in Rwanda; during which time she has taught, supervised and mentored many students and won various research grants. She has also published a number of scholarly articles and developed teaching, learning and training materials on various topics including Gender, Education and Development, Peace Building and Social Cohesion, ICT in Education, Positive Masculinity and others. Jolly is also an active member of several women’s organizations in Rwanda and is currently the Chairperson of the Forum for African Women Educationalist (FAWE) Rwanda Chapter. Previously she served as the Deputy Director General of Rwanda Management Institute (RMI), which is a training, research and capacity building institution for public and private sector employees in Rwanda.
