Use of Couch grass (URWIRI) for new medium density fiberboard
The project aims at using natural grasses like COUCHGRASS(URWIRI) for transforming the fibers into final useful products. This work uses natural grasses with wooden glue as a binder material and converts them into building materials as MDF.
Production of Maize cob Board (MDF) for furniture
This innovative project consists in making new material/equipment made out of maize cobs and sisal fibers for manufacturing boards (MDF). The purpose was to examine the general limits within which a satisfactory board can be made with this agricultural residue where this maize cobs are mostly considered as agriculture waste.
iCard Project
The innovation project aims to reinvent the student card, allowing long term data storage and availability through the integration of the new student card (RFID based card) and management system, iCard. The novel idea is replacing all cards used by students by icard. All information for student will be recorder on this iCard and verified through RFID reader device as the student use his/her card in each of those activities.
Smart car parking system
Smart car parking system is the innovative system which will help car owners to park safely and smartly their cars at different locations like market places, hospitals, offices etc. The driver will place the vehicle in car elevator which will lift it to the parking tray in front of car elevator, there will be a monitor display where the number of available parking lots will be displayed.
RENGERUBUZIMA Software Project-software based health education
The innovative project consists in software development that will be accessible to Rwandans with access to all kind of health information at low costing. the educational program will be easily accessible by movile phones, sustainable, time saving, private and confidential addition, the mobile app will have menstruation cycle tracking system to help females be aware of their fertile periods.
High-Risk Pregnancy Prediction Platform
Our innovation consists of developing a web-based application that uses structured algorithms and later machine learning models, in the prediction of high-risk pregnancies. Our innovation aims at empowering primary health care professionals such as community health workers, nurses, and midwives, to detect pregnancies at high risk of causing maternal and/or fetal complications.

Companion app is a mobile application linking HIV patients and healthcare providers with mission to improve patients follow up and adherence to treatment. it works as online App with broadband connection and USSD for people without internet.

This project consists of the formulation of a nutrient-rich porridge flour for infants and young children, using locally available foods in Rwanda to address the problem of child malnutrition which is one of the main public health problems in the country.
