Brief profile: 
Mr. Jean Pierre Alpha Munyaruhengeri is a PhD student at the African Centre of Excellence for Innovative Teaching and Learning in Mathematics and Sciences (ACEITLMS), University of Rwanda, College of Education (UR-CE). His research interests include mathematics education, abstract algebra, and differential geometry. He earned a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in 2018 and participated in the Erasmus programme at the University of Padova, Italy, from 2018 to 2019, in the Department of Mathematics. He completed a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Mathematics (Secondary) in 2016. He has teaching experience in secondary school mathematics and has taught various mathematics modules at the University of Technology and Arts of Byumba (UTAB). He is currently working as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Education.
