Brief profile: 
Dr. Pravda Mfurankunda is a lecturer at the University of Rwanda with over 25 years of experience in university teaching and research. He began his academic career in 1998 after completing a BA in English Language Studies. He later pursued postgraduate training in Applied Linguistics and Language Education in Cape Town, where he obtained a Master of Education in 2005 and a PhD in Education in 2016. His research interests include digital literacy and multilingualism, language education, applied linguistics, discourse analysis, and civic education. He has conducted and contributed to several research projects, publications, and consultancies in these areas. His work reflects a particular interest in the relationship between language, education, digital practices, and society.
