Brief profile:
"Jean Pierre Alpha Munyaruhengeri is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Education, where he teaches various undergraduate mathematics modules. He is also a PhD student at the African Centre of Excellence for Innovative Teaching and Learning Mathematics and Science (ACEITLMS) at the University of Rwanda, College of Education.
His research interests focus on the potential of mathematical software in mathematics education, with particular emphasis on the impact of GeoGebra in the teaching and learning of mathematics, especially calculus and geometry.
He holds a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Mathematics (Secondary) from the University of Rwanda, College of Education, and a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Rwanda. In addition, he participated in the Erasmus+ programme at the University of Padova, Italy, where he pursued master’s-level studies in Pure Mathematics."
