Brief profile: 
Erneste Murindwa (MSc. Food Technology from Gent University and KU Leuven) is a highly experienced postharvest handling, processing, food safety and quality management Lecturer, researcher, trainer and certification expert with over 15 years of proven success in building capacities across the food value chain in Africa. He specializes in the design and delivery of practical, results-oriented training and coaching programs leading to internationally recognized certifications, including Global G.A.P., HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS, GMP and S-Mark. Drawing on extensive hands-on consultancy experience with SMEs, large food industries, farmer organizations, and public institutions, he supports organizations from gap assessment and system development through internal auditing and certification readiness. His training approach combines strong technical expertise, adult-learning methodologies, and real-world case studies, enabling clients to achieve compliance, improve food safety performance, reduce postharvest losses, and access local and export markets.
