"Pontien MACUMI is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Education, specifically in the Department of Foundations of education and Curriculum Studies. He has been teaching education related courses since 2008, beginning at the former Rukara College of Education before it merged into the University of Rwanda. He has Master of Education from Mahatma Gandhi University and M.A. in Sociology from Annamalai University, India (2013).
His research and professional focus areas include Technical and Vocational Education for development, Educational leadership for quality improvement and Gender and inclusiveness in education. He has also been involved in educational innovation projects, such as integrating e learning tools to improve teaching, learning, and assessment at the University of Rwanda’s Rukara Campus.
