Brief profile: 
Mr. NGARUKIYE Valens has 10 years working experience in teaching, training and coaching in Pedagogy, curriculum and school leadership courses. He holds a Maters’ degree of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (MEd) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (PGCLTHE). He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and he is current undertaking his PhD studies at University of Rwanda. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in languages that he got from the National University of Rwanda. Beside academic qualifications he is also qualified as a Trainer in School Leadership and Management after completing a relevant training in the field. Since 2014 up today, he has been a Lecturer at University of Rwanda, College of Education. He also served as a Tutor (lecturer) at Kavumu College of Education since 2012 to 2014 served as a Tutorial Assistant at National University of Rwanda in 2008. In 2009 -2012, Mr. NGARUKIYE Valens was employed as an English Tutor in the Department of Distance training Programme (Current School of Open and Distance Learning). Besides working in Higher Learning institutions, he served as a District Trainer of English Language and English language teaching and taught in secondary schools. In his research, he is interested in curriculum implementation, assessment and evaluation, classroom instructional practices and teacher education. In terms of consultancy and training, Mr. NGARUKIYE Valens has been a consultant and a trainer in different programmes of Continuous Professional Development since 2017 up today.
