Brief profile:
MS. Concilie Mukamwambali is aa Assistant Lecturer in the department of Mathematics, Sciences and Physical Education at the University of Rwanda -College of Education. She has embraced the teaching career since 1996 when she was involved in teaching biology courses in various secondary schools up to 2004. She is a holder of Master’s of Education degree with specialization in Science Education from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, since 2012. Ms. Concilie has taught biology related modules at university level since 2004. She also belongs to the team of trainers in a CPD programme for Primary & Secondary school STEM teachers under Rwanda Quality Basic Education project. This programme focuses on advancing the implementation of the CBC while supporting the improvement of learning outcomes in Mathematics and Sciences. She has participated in various seminars and workshops, and her current research interest is in science teaching and learning.
