"Mr. Gerard NIZEYIMANA is an Assistant Lecturer pursuing a PhD by research in Computer Science Education at University of Rwanda College of Education, where he is interested in ""Using emerging technologies for computer programming teaching and learning in Rwandan resource constrained primary schools"". He graduated with MSc.in Information and Communication Science and Engineering, from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology, Arusha-Tanzania. He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (Dec. 2011). He holds a One year Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology from Amity University, Uttar-Pradesh, India (Dec.2010), and a BSc. Degree in Computer Science with Education, from the former Kigali Institute of Education(March,2008). He has completed many short courses on Blended Learning Practice, Learning to Learn Online, Technology-Enabled Learning, and Digital Pedagogy training, supported from the Commonwealth of Learning and Athabasca University, University of Toronto, and Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE)- Canada.
